Hostess gifts aren’t really something that people my age (mid 20′s, upper 20′s?!!) are thinking about when they get invited to a party. Let’s be honest, sometimes those parties are just a meat grilling, beer in an ice bucket kind of get together. It’s definitely not necessary to bring a hostess gift to something like that.
But while we’re full swing into the holiday season, it’s likely that you’re going to be invited to some nicer gatherings than the one mentioned before.
I think it’s always nice to bring something to the hostess of a Christmas party. They really have worked hard to prepare a ton of stuff so that their friends can enjoy themselves. Show them how much you appreciate all they have done by bringing them a little something.
We’re talking about spending less than $20 here guys.
Chances are the money you spend on a little gift wouldn’t begin to cover the number of gourmet appetizers you stuff yourself with, the thick slab of meat on your plate and the numerous glasses of brandy egg nog you gulp down. haha!
(Note: As you’re looking for a gift, think simple- especially if it’s decor of any sort.)
Here are a few suggestions of some nice gifts to bring to your hostess with the mostess, all under $20:
