A list of our tried-and-true products. We swear by ‘em….

LIZZY - Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express

“It’s light and separates like magic. Just what I want from a mascara.”

STEPH – Loreal Voluminous & MAC Plush Lash

“Both of these mascaras are thickening machines and easily layered for a more dramatic look”

LIZZY – MAC Eye Kohl in ‘Teddy’

“A beautiful brown I can wear everyday with no question. And it compliments my tootsie roll colored eyes!”

STEPH – Urban Decay 24/7 & MAC Fluidline

“24/7 is creamy as creamy can be. Goes on so smooth I can’t stand it. Fluidline is applied with Sonia Kashuk’s angled liner brush and is perfect drawing in a beautiful cat eye line.”

LIZZY – MAC’s blush in ‘Blushbaby’

“I have had a lot of ‘mishaps’ when it comes to blush wearing- too much, too bright, too ‘clown-like’- so when I came across this color I was able to wear it day to day without looking too made up. I was hooked”

STEPH – Physician’s Formula Light Bronzer & MAC’s blushes

“I always struggle with the orangey-ness of bronzers. They look so snookie-like. This one is more brown than orange and can be applied as light or dark as desired.  MAC blushes are gorgeous in color, easily applied and last all day.”

LIZZY – MAC Paint Pot

“I can’t even remember the name of the color because I buy it only once a year.  But without it my eyeshadow would be worthless. A tragedy I know.”

STEPH – Urban Decay Primer Potion

” This stuff is gold. Smooth on a creamy layer on my lid before the shadow and it helps my shadow stay in place all day and makes it look twice as bright.”

LIZZY – MAC eye shadow in ‘Kid’ and ‘Shroom’

“A highlight and a neutral to wear day in and day out.”

STEPH – Coastal Scents Neutral Eye Palette & MAC eye shadow in ‘Noir’

“This palette has 28 beautiful neutral colors.  The deep browns and peaches are my favorite.  Noir eyeshadow is my go-to color for a smokey eye. It’s a beautiful navy and a great alternative to any black”

LIZZY – Bath & Body Work Mentha Lip Buffer & Sonia Kashuk Lip Crayon

“The mentha lip buffer makes my lips feel oh-so-amazing and healthy, it’s easy to throw on and immediately improves my look with a little bit of shine.  The crayon is easy to apply, is offered in so many colors that can be worn day to night.  I wear it with chapstick to keep it’s matte look”

STEPH – NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss & Sonia Kashuk Lipsticks

“These lip glosses offer all the shiny-glossiness I could possibly want. They come in beautiful colors and are inexpensive.  SK lipsticks are wonderfully creamy and last all day. My favorite color is the coral hue called Nectar.”

LIZZY – Neutrogena Healthy Face Liquid Foundation

“It’s thick enough yet can avoid cakey while still getting to that happy dewey place”

STEPH – Sally Hansen Natural Beauty ‘Your Skin’ Foundation

“I have sensitive skin and have had such a tough time finding a foundation that doesn’t make me break out, but still provides ample coverage without looking cakey. Sally Hansen is the answer. It’s free of lots of the chemicals in most makeup and goes on sheer yet covers well. I don’t know what I’d do without it”

Although we love all these products we are always looking for new things to try. We’d love to hear YOUR makeup products you swear by!

I just got Revlon’s Photo Finish Foundation. Its said to be comparable to Makeup Forever HD Foundation. I LOVE it! Bare Minerals bronzer in Faux Tan is great too- definitely more brown, hard to find non-orange bronzers! Also love Nars blush added to the bronzer for a little pink shimmer. Voluminous mascara is the best thing ever invented! I’m gonna have to try the MAC fluidline- have had a hard time finding a waterproof, easy applied liner. thanks for the tips! xoxo
