DIY lip and body scrub

by stephanie on March 17, 2011

I don’t know about you but the winter wreaks havoc on my skin. Dries it out nothing else.

I wake up and my lips are gross and cracky and my skin is all gross and scaley.  Such a pretty picture I know.

So how do I get rid of all that dead skin? A little DIY home scrubbing action.

for thanksgiving gifts to our dinner guests I made pumpkin body sugar scrubs in cute little mason jars. I love making home made- natural- scrubs. Thanks for the new recipes!

This is a great recipe for a homemade lip scrub. When you are in a bind, you can also add a little bit of sugar with your favorite organic lip balm and use it as an exfoliation.

When making a homemade body sugar scrub, I also add macadamia nut oil. It’s one of the most moisturizing oils out there.
