I love that these days our social media worlds are all about pictures. Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Instagram…..
And I love that it doesn’t matter what kind of camera you are capturing your image with, it’s all about what you want to share!
Today I wanted to throw a little challenge out there for ya. The next time you go to take a picture of something you’re going to share via FB or whatever, try taking it from a new and unexpected angle.
Instead of taking it straight on like you may usually, move your camera around to see what other interesting ways you can take that picture.
Two different ways of doing that are: the bird’s eye view and the worm’s eye view.
Examples from my iPhone:
Here is the lovely bowl of fruit my mom has out on her kitchen counter. And this might be the most “obvious” way to take a picture of it.

Now from a bird’s eye view.

Now from a worm’s eye view.

Even without any photo effects the last two have so much more visual interest!
The same goes for taking pictures of people and pets.
Here is my dog Buddy.

But I just love him from a worm’s eye view.

.
Just somethin fun to play with as you’re sharing your pictures. It will make your picture taking so much more interesting!
Send me a link to the next favorite pic that you share!!!
